Exclusively in Babérliget! Besides the winery itself, the only place where you can taste this elegant, vibrant “méthode traditionnelle” sparkling wine is our Winebar and Restaurant. Coming from the prestigious Tokaj region in the north-east of Hungary, and made entirely of an indigenous Hungarian grape variety, Hárslevelű, it relies both on tradition and innovation. It is bone-dry (“brut nature”), but has all the lovely white flower and ripe apple notes typical of Hárslevelű, the elegant minerality of the volcanic soil of Tokaj, and beautifully integrated bubbles to start off your degustation menu … or to ask for another glass.
